I didn't enter the Abbey but the environment is okay for visitors. There's restaurant, bar, church and bank around the site. Good place to visit by all ages.
Incredible setting to walk the spiritual path and the heart. Incredibly gifted sisters to guide you in the path of forgiveness and the ways of God even if you are not Catholic. Their songs are sublime!

Interesting and full of historical and archaeological anecdotes, a speaker will take you back 1500 years or she will highlight with passion and accuracy the evolution of this historic place and its founders.
Very interesting and exciting.
On the other hand, for this visit, take your precautions in terms of opening days and hours as well as for transport which is quite limited even in terms of taxis.
Otherwise from Jouarre to Ferté-sous-Jouarre on foot, allow 40 minutes!
To discover.
Safe Haven.
To recharge your batteries, there is nothing better.
A 4-day stay for a spiritual retreat... And it was extraordinary! Enriching, relaxing... The sisters are adorable and caring. We are well received there... The abbey is warm and beautiful...
We have everything we need to feel good and leave feeling peaceful! The rooms are very pretty and comfortable! The ownership of the premises is exemplary! Once again, thank you very much, I will come back!

The crypt and the Church are worth seeing, especially the crypt with its tombs, you have to go to the Tourist Office near the town hall to be able to visit, but the abbey tower is not interesting for me,
Very beautiful place steeped in history and in addition a very beautiful view from the top of the tower.
